I have a long holiday up ahead and I'm hoping to get a lot of writing done over that time.
I have read a few really good novels recently including The Painter of Silence and The Song of Achilles. Both of them left me sobbing at the end. I think the best books in the world are the ones that touch your heart and to find a novel that truly does that can be rare so I was really lucky to find these two books.
Both novels were shortlisted for the Orange Prize for Fiction this year. If you've never heard of the Orange Prize it's a literary prize that focuses on the works of female writers throughout the world in order to celebrate 'exc
